The Office of Non-Discrimination and Title IX is responsible for administering Non-Discrimination Policy or The Sex-Based Misconduct Policy and cultivating a culture of safety and access through a three-pronged approach:
Response: When a Juilliard community member wants to report incidents prohibited by our policies, they can reach out to our office during working hours (Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm) through the following mechanisms:

For urgent needs, our Title IX Coordinator can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year through Juilliard Public Safety.

Prevention: Policies, education, and evaluation are common tools of prevention. They are used to cultivate interpersonal relationships that promote affirmative consent, equity, and safe communities. These activities include workshops, trainings, awareness events, and collaboration. examples include:
- Relationship Violence Awareness Month (October)
- Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April)
- Safe Zone Training (throughout the year)

Support: The Office of Non-Discrimination and Title IX deal with incidents that impact members of our community in various ways and require different responses to needs.
